Every inch of this item has been worked in some way, the handle is enlarged at the tip then twisted, apart from giving it a special hand made feel, this also serves as a "grip" when in use... Last step is the "double edge" cutting blade section which is made to cut open your letters with ease yet not as sharp as a knife...

Last hammer blow on the letter opener is my logo signature "Naz".

I put a lot of importance in cleaning each item after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each piece with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...

After cleaning, I clear coat the letter opener for protection and to keep the raw iron look.

Please keep in mind each one is hand made one at a time, slight differences may vary from one another. If you like the one you see in the above photos, rest assured that the one you will receive will be true to the one shown here, nothing leaves my shop unless i'm 100% satisfied with the finished product.
