Great Stocking Stuffer Gift Idea !...No, really, I think you may have "nailed it" this time...
It is possible to have this item personalized with up to 3 letters or numbers on the top of the nail's head... There will be a "note to seller" section during checkout where you can leave the personalization of your choice if you choose to have it personalized... If you don't need it personalized (or if you don't leave a note), I will stamp it with my maker's mark "Naz".
Made from a large 8 inch spike nail, I form a smooth curve so a part of the curve sits on top of the bottle cap and a hammered "dimple" smoothly lifts the cap off as you apply pressure upwards... After the hot bending, the opener finishes off at approximately 6inches.
The perfect gift for any handy man that appreciates a cold one...Each one is made by hand and offer quality and originality that you simply can not get from a machine... (Each opener comes with a black velvet gift pouch)
I put a lot of importance in cleaning each opener after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each opener with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...
After cleaning, I clear coat the bottle opener for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
