Forged Belt Buckle - Hammered Distressed & Textured Iron Buckle with natural Flame Colors.

This rugged belt buckle leaves a statement everywhere you go.

Measurements are 3-3/4" wide & 2-1/2" high.

The edges of the buckle are hammer textured to give it that warm handmade look & feel.

The buckle is made in 2 parts, the backing plate has an elevated contour that I've hammere textured, then the insert is also hammer textured around the edges & flame painted with my propane torch.
The colors you see on this buckle are all natural and are achieved by bringing the iron to a pale shine then heating it just enough to show the heat colors running on the metal being careful not to over-heat and lose these beautiful colors.

Since the colors are made by hand & eye, they will all differ slightly, the colors can include different shades of blue, purple & straw...
PS : The natural colors match perfectly with all jeans.

The 2 parts are then assembled together using old style hammered brass rivets.

After cleaning, I clear coated the buckle to keep the raw iron look.

This forged belt buckle will accept a belt of up to 1 1/2" wide.
