I put a lot of importance in cleaning each "keychain opener" after it has been hammered, bent into shape, and "in and out" of the fire numerous times...I acheive the clean look you see in the photos by using the wire wheel and sandpaper, this leaves each piece with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...
After cleaning, I clear coat the keychain opener for protection and to keep the raw iron look.
This is a hand made item that will last a lifetime !
