I love forging horse heads and I've been making them for a while now, this one is followed by a hook . (The price is for one hook, you can choose how many you want during checkout).

This very decorative and original horse head hook starts out as a piece of 1/2" x 3/16" flat bar and is formed on the anvil at an orange / yellow heat.

First the head was formed using only the hand hammer and anvil.

Once the head formed, I added details with personal hand made punches...

Beneath the hair, I stamp my logo signature "Naz" in the metal.

For the hook end, I taper the tip and form a small loop so there is no pointy tip, then I form a nice rounded hook.


2 holes accomodate screws for wall hanging. (Each hook comes with 2 decorative wood screws)

I put a lot of importance in cleaning each hook after the forging... Each one is finished with a clean attractive look that is perfect for gift giving...

After cleaning, I clear coat the hook for protection and to keep the raw iron look.

Since they are hand forged one at a time, they each have their own personality and character, not one is the exactly the same. Each one is made by hand and offer quality and originality that you simply can not get from a machine...

Makes a great gift for yourself or someone who loves horses.

Total height is approximately 6".
